What’s in your toolbox? Depending on the art form you create the tools you use may vary and it’s always a great idea to learn about a subject as much as you can. If you’re a writer, the more words you know the better you’re going to e able to express yourself. However just because you don’t know tons of words like your favorite author does , it doesn’t mean that you should put a hold on creating until you do. To be creative with only what you’ve got is an art in itself also. Sometimes less is more. Take for example the Beatles one of the best bands that had ever existed and their fantastic album “Sgt Pepper”. Could you believe that that album was made with a four-track recorder? Where there is will there is a way. Imagine an artist who only draws with a black crayon. The fact that he doesn’t happen to use other colors simply doesn’t make him any less of an artist, does it? Don’t stop learning; keep improving but also concentrate on doing your best with what you’ve got at the moment.
